How to write a personal blog

Introduction

Personal blog is a way of talking to your audience. Your audience will then react to your blog through questions, comments and suggestions.

Personal Blog Use-Case

After defining your research project, you may add a personal blog about your thought process and invite your peers and colleagues to react to it. They could challenge your thought process, give you better ideas of how to approach the issue or even better you may just help someone through a problem they are experiencing. This will earn you high ranks within the forum.

The below instructions and guide assume that you have an account with CTI and have successfully logged in to the learner portal.

Steps

• Click on “My Profile” link to access the landing page of your profile
• Click on Personal Blog Link

 

• Click on Create New Post

 

• Fill in the required fields and click on Create Blog

 

• Upon creating the new post, check and confirm that you can view your post
• In order to edit, click on the Edit button as displayed

• To view your blog, click on the Title of your blog and confirm all is ok

• Anyone who visits your profile will then be able to access your blog. If you want engagements then you will need to create a Forum Topic.
